Every post on this site goes through a deliberate process. Here's how it works.

The Process

Every post starts with a real problem, observation, or decision I've encountered at work. I write a rough outline capturing the core argument. Then I use Claude to help structure and expand — but the ideas, analysis, and perspective are mine. AI assists the writing; it doesn't replace the thinking.

Tools I Use

Claude (Anthropic) for drafting and structuring. Cursor for any code examples. PostHog for understanding which content actually gets read. Google Search Console for keyword performance. The full stack is on the Stack page.

What AI Does and Doesn't Do

AI helps me write faster and structure arguments more clearly. It doesn't generate the insights, the examples, or the positions. Everything that makes a post worth reading — the clinical trial story, the specific failure mode, the contrarian take — comes from direct experience. AI is a writing partner, not a ghostwriter.

Publishing Cadence

I publish when I have something worth saying. That's usually several times a month. The newsletter is weekly. I don't chase consistency for its own sake — a post I'm proud of matters more than hitting a schedule.
